LITTLEHAMPTON, UK (ANS) -- As one million Christians are being challenged to invite one million people to come back to church September 26 this year, Sorted magazine, the UK's first Christian magazine for men, is offering a special deal on bulk orders of their September/October edition to run alongside this year's Back to Church Sunday campaign. | Steve Legg | "We're thrilled to be working alongside Back to Church Sunday because more than anything Sorted exists for people who aren't yet believers and I know the real heart and vision of BTCS is all about the people who are not yet in Church," said Sorted editor Steve Legg. He added: "As a men's Magazine now available in 16 countries we aim to reach the people who are not yet Christians through people who are. Our 'adopt a soldier' scheme means men and women in the UK are able to sponsor copies of Sorted to go to the brave men serving in HM Armed Forces. This means we're able to give away a staggering 10,000 copies of Sorted each year and it is incredibly humbling to hear of guys coming to faith through our publication.

KINGSTON, JAMAICA Ladies and gentlemen, it is with great pleasure and with the greatest pride that I announce the formation of New Nation Coalition, a nationalist, political movement founded by, and grounded in Christianity, and those Christian principles and values practiced and proven by generations of Jamaicans. New Nation Coalition is open to every Jamaican who shares our vision and mission, and who understands the need to build a new and better Jamaica.
New Nation Coalition recognizes the value and the greatness of every Jamaican and embraces a vision of Jamaica in which every person – man woman and child, will be loved, protected and provided for, and where every person, irrespective of class, colour or station in life, will have the opportunity to fulfill his or her God-given potential.
The name New Nation Coalition was carefully and deliberately chosen. The word New signifies a New Beginning – the dawn of a new day for Jamaica. Nation embodies and describes the collective will, talents and gifts – the dreams and aspirations or our people, and Coalition speaks to an attitude and a disposition, but more importantly, a policy and a strategy of fostering and promoting partnerships and striving for unity across all classes and sectors of the society, including, and especially, partnerships with the Jamaican Diaspora. |

ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO (ANS) -- Les Palmer arrived in Albuquerque, New Mexico several months before I did. We were both new employees at Calvary of Albuquerque. As it turned out, our offices were right next door to each other in what we called "The Cave." | Dr. Jacotte Prevalis, Haiti SWAT Team Captain and Les | Through our initial conversations, we realized we had a lot in common: both coming from California to New Mexico and both of us living in San Diego County for a time. We had common acquaintances and had the same church family, Calvary Chapel. And then it happened: Les began to disappear. One day he was in his office; the next week he would be gone. A few days back and then Les would disappear for three weeks. In between all his disappearances, he would update us on his life and ministry. As my life revolved around reading, editing, and project management, his life revolved around travel and intense ministry to others. So goes the life of a chaplain. |

NNEWI, NIGERIA (ANS) -- I published the article below on-line in the Nigeria World web-site on Monday, June 1, 2009. Please read it and tell me what justifies Nigeria from getting more foreign loans and consequently increasing its debt profile again. In the Daily Independent of Tuesday, July 27, 2010, p. 34, Thompson Ayodele and Olusegun Sotola, public policy analysts based in Lagos, cautioned against any relapse by the government to the past abuse of foreign loans as a source of corrupt enrichment by the ruling elite. |
